Reflections Music Series (Free)

This browser does not display the video tag.

During difficult times, musicians are often looked to as leaders who can bring communities together and promote healing. As artists with a public platform, we strive to connect with our shared humanity and make a positive impact. To support these efforts, the American Bandmasters Association has created a series of musical compositions and a reflective statement that can be used to introduce the national anthem or other reflective programming. We encourage you to take advantage of these resources in your own programs or as a guest conductor. Each composition is inspired by and aligned with the Reflections Statement, and comes with full scores, parts, audio recordings, and translations of the statement in multiple languages. You are permitted to duplicate parts, perform, audio record, and video record the compositions as appropriate, as long as it is not done for profit. We are grateful that all of the compositions were generously donated by the composers as a gift to support our collective healing and well-being.
